The GT 500 novelty plate is another in the range of auto plates. The GT 500 superceded the SVT Cobra in 2007. Introduced at the 2005 New York International Auto Show, the GT500 uses a supercharged and intercooled Modular 5.4 L; 330.0 cu in (5,408 cc) V8 engine rated at 500 hp at 6,000 rpm. The GT500 was produced in limited quantity for three years.
The plate comes standard with Blue characters on a White background but we can make other colour combinations for you
This plate has embossed characters and border and is a USA size 30 x 15cm (12 x 6 inches) aluminium plate and extremely high quality, durable and long lasting, and we are proud to say that it is manufactured in Queensland, Australia.
PLEASE NOTE that our US sized plates are NOT pre-drilled, so in order to hang them on a wall you’ll need to drill holes or use double sided tape.
For protection during delivery we use extra re-cycled packing materials to ensure they arrive in tip-top condition

The introduction of the Mustang created a new class of automobile known as the pony car. The Mustang’s styling, with its long hood and short deck, proved wildly popular and inspired a host of imitators. It was initially introduced as a hardtop and convertible with the fastback version put on sale the following year. At the time of its introduction, the Mustang, sharing its underpinnings with the Falcon, was slotted into a compact car segment. With each revision, the Mustang saw an increase in overall dimensions and in engine power. The 1971 model saw a drastic redesign to its predecessors. After an initial surge, sales were steadily declining, as Ford began working on a new generation Mustang. With the onset of the 1973 oil crisis, Ford was prepared, having already designed the smaller Mustang II for the 1974 model year. This new car had no common components with preceding models. The MUSTANG USA 1964 plate comes standard as lightly embossed and made from high quality aluminium. Artwork is applied by a dye sublimation process with a lovely gloss finish. They measure 30 x 15 cm, exactly the same as other US made novelty number plates; even the mounting holes are in exactly the same positions, so they can easily be hung on display indoors or outdoors. The Cobra is a muscle car/pony car model that was built in model years 1993 through 2004 by Ford Motor Company's Special Vehicle Team division. The SVT Cobra was a high-performance version of the Ford Mustang, considered as top-of-the-line as it was positioned above the Mustang GT and Mach 1 models during its era of production. On three occasions, the race-ready, street-legal SVT Cobra R variant was produced in limited numbers.
