Case IH is a brand of agricultural equipment. It was created in 1985 when Tenneco bought selected assets of the agricultural division from International Harvester and merged it into its J.I. Case Company. Today Case IH is owned by CNH Industrial, which in turn is financially controlled by the Italian investment company Exor, which belongs to the Agnelli family

In 1902, J.P. Morgan merged the McCormick Harvesting Machine Company and Deering Harvester Company, along with three smaller agricultural equipment firms, to form International Harvester. In 1985, International Harvester sold off most of its agricultural division to Tenneco, Inc., which merged it into its subsidiary J.I. Case under the Case IH brand. Following the terms of IH's agreement with Tenneco, International Harvester renamed itself Navistar International Corporation in 1986. International logos have changed a bit over the years as below: This very collectable plate comes standard as lightly embossed and made from high quality aluminium. Artwork is applied by a dye sublimation process with a lovely gloss finish. They measure 30 x 15 cm, exactly the same as other US made novelty number plates; even the mounting holes are in exactly the same positions, so they can easily be hung on display indoors or outdoors. The stylized Triple Diamond logo actually went into use with the introduction of the K-series trucks in late 1940. At this time, both early and later styles of the Triple Diamond logo were used, seemingly interchangeably. However, the stylized logo was used for fixed trim on the trucks, such as the grille bar and horn button, while the earlier logo was found on hubcaps and in documents. By the time the L-series was introduced, the stylized image above had become the fully standardized truck logo.
