Dixie’s embossed Aussie size plates are made in Australia and measure 37cm x 13cm – the same as a standard size ‘real’ number plate. The Aussie manufacturer is the very same company that makes the ‘real’ plates, and they have been producing and selling quality Novelty Number Plates for many years. The plates look the same as those on a normal vehicle, and have embossed characters and an embossed border. They can be hung inside or outside and each is pre-drilled so ready to hang and would look very nice framed. Each Aussie MY SHED novelty plate is supplied in a clear plastic sleeve with a hanging display card affixed so they are ready for in-store display. They are extremely high quality, durable and long lasting and we are proud to say Australian manufactured by the same company that’s been producing and selling quality number plates for years. The MENS SHED novelty plates can be hung inside or outside and each is pre-drilled so ready to hang. WIKIPEDIA tells us this about MENS SHED: Community Sheds are non-profit organisations that originated in Australia, to advise and improve the overall health of all males. However they have expanded to anyone regardless of age or gender and they normally operate on a local level in the community, promoting social interaction and aim to increase the quality of life. There are over 900 located across Australia, with thousands of active members. Mens Sheds can also be found in Scotland, England, Wales, Ireland, Finland and Greece. The Australian Men's Sheds Association was established in 2007 by the Australian independent community based Men's Sheds to represent, support and promote the Mens Shed Movement and to act as a central hub for information exchange. Also note most of the images attached don't have an apostrophe in the wording, but we can now add in an apostrophe - eg: DADS SHED can be made as DAD'S SHED In one line of characters there can be no more than 11 characters including spaces, so for example BRUCES SHED is a total of 11 characters, so will fit, but longer names such as FREDERICK'S SHED wouldn't fit on one line, as its 16 characters and we would make FREDERICK'S the top line with SHED beneath. With two lines of characters the character height is 50mm. It can either be done as POPS SHED or with an apostrophe as POP'S SHED There’s a choice of the type you see here, which is a plain non-graphic 2 colour plate, or there is a ‘fancier’ ‘picture plate’ graphic version in Black and Yellow as shown further down the web page.
