This novelty number plate is the pressed embossed standard Aussie size 37cm x 13cm aluminium plate and extremely high quality, durable and long lasting and we are proud to say that it is manufactured in Queensland, Australia. These novelty plates can be hung anywhere inside or outside as each is pre-drilled so ready to hang. PLEASE NOTE they are for decoration only as officially the authorities say “Attachment of a novelty number plate to a vehicle could attract the interest of law enforcement officers should it affect the visibility of, or distract from, or imply it is, the actual registration plate of the vehicle.”
For protection during delivery we use extra packing materials to ensure they arrive in tip-top condition

FORD ZEPHYR X 3
$25.10The FORD ZEPHYR X 3. The Zephyr was manufactured by Ford of Britain. Between 1951 and 1966 it was sold as a more powerful six-cylinder model to complement the four-cylinder Ford Consul. From 1962 to 1972 the Zephyr itself was offered in both four- and six-cylinder versions, the Consul having been dropped. The Zephyr, and its luxury variants, the Ford Zodiac and Ford Executive, were the largest passenger cars in the British Ford range from 1951 until their replacement by the Consul and Granada models in 1972. In Australia, the Mark II Consul, Zephyr and Zodiac were built at Ford Australia's factory in Geelong. Sedan, coupe utility, and station wagon versions were produced. The Australian-developed Mark II Station Wagon differed from its English Estate Car counterpart in having a wind-up rear window, and a straight C pillar, rather than a curved one. A handful of Station Wagons were registered in 1958, but sales did not really commence until about halfway through 1959. Mark II manufacture continued until 1962, in which year production switched to the assembly of Mark IIIs from imported completely knocked-down (CKD) kits. This plate has no embossed characters but has a pressed out embossed border and is made from high quality aluminium and the artwork applied by a dye sublimation process with a lovely gloss finish. They measure 37 x 13 cm, exactly the same as the traditional fully embossed type of plate and look just like our other Aussie made novelty number plates; even the mounting holes are in exactly the same positions, so they can easily be hung on display indoors or outdoors.
