Description
The HOLDEN HT KINGSWOOD SEDAN novelty plate shows the car that was produced by Holden in Australia between 1969 and 1970. HT Belmont, Kingswood and Premier models were introduced in May 1969, replacing their Holden HK series equivalents which had been in production since 1968. HT Brougham and Monaro models followed in June 1969. Noticeable changes from the HK series included new grilles, new tail lights, flatter rear flanks and a wider back window. Other changes included increased track width, revised suspension, a new instrument panel and synchromesh on all forward gears on manual gearbox models.
The mainstream HT series was offered in four-door sedan and five-door station wagon body styles in three trim levels:B Belmont sedan B / B Belmont wagon B /B Kingswood sedan B /B Kingswood wagon B /B Premier sedan B /B Premier wagon.
The Brougham, which used a body with an extended boot, was available in one model only – theB Brougham sedan
The Monaro was offered in three two-door coupe models:B Monaro coupe B /B Monaro GTS coupe B / B Monaro GTS 350 coupe
Commercial vehicle derivatives were available in two-door coupe utility and two-door panel van body styles in two trim levels:B Belmont utility B /B Belmont panel van B / Kingswood utility
This plate has no embossed characters but has a pressed out embossed borderB and is made from high quality aluminium and the artwork applied by a dye sublimation process with a lovely gloss finish. They measure 37 x 13 cm, exactly the same as the traditional fully embossed type of plate and look just like our other Aussie made novelty number plates; even the mounting holes are in exactly the same positions, so they can easily be hung on display indoors or outdoors. For protection during delivery we use extra packing materials to ensure they arrive in tip-top condition
